The diverse, raunchy everyday tales about modern-day relationships which were met to much enthusiasm in 2018 are coming back with a new set of cast and directors to grace the streaming giant Netflix on 29 June, 2023. Like its predecessor, Lust Stories 2 features an ensemble cast and is directed by four different contemporary filmmakers. The cast is headed by talented names such as Kajol, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur and Neena Gupta. The stories will be directed by acclaimed directors such as Amit Ravindernath Sharma (Badhaai Ho) , R. Balki (Padman) , Konkona Sen Sharma (A Death in the Gunj) and Sujoy Ghosh (Kahaani).

One story showcases an extra-marital affair played by the real-life couple Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma which certainly will be the most exciting for the viewers due to the sparkling chemistry of the duo. Another story shows Neena Gupta of Badhaai Ho fame giving analogies of trying pre-marital sex to her granddaughter, played by Mrunal Thakur, comparing it to a 'test drive'. The third story shows Kajol and Kumud Mishra in a marriage gone sour with the latter eyeing his domesitc help for sexual pleasure. The last story where Tillotama Shome's character is seen snooping on her domestic help sleeping with a delivery guy which will surely shed light on themes like class divide. The trailer does not make it clear whether which director is helming the particular segments.

The anthology film aims at recreating its predecessor's magic with an equally adept array of actors and filmmakers having their skills on display, all of them boasting an impeccable track record behind them.
