After a successful 9 seasons, the makers of Suits officially pulled the plugs and the series became among the most-watched US TV shows of all time. In fact, the starcast of Suits recently reunited and attended the Gloden Globes Award 2024. Actors like Gabriel Macht who plays Harvey Specter, Sarah Rafferty who plays Donna Paulsen, Gina Torres who plays Jessica Pearson, Patrick J. Adams who plays Mike Ross and more attended the show. While those who have already watched Suits on Netflix, the makers have observed demands of fans to bring back the hit series with a new storyline. As a result, Suits Spinoff recently became a topic of discussion when Patrick J. Adams talked about it during the Golden Globes. Not only this, but Patrick J. Adams also talked about Meghan Markle who played the character of Rachel Zane in the hit series.
Patrick was asked about the possibility of a Suits spinoff. Responding to this, Patrick aka Mike Ross seemed elated and endorsed the idea, proposing a setting in Seattle for their characters, Mike and Rachel. During the interview, Adams was quoted saying, "I think Meghan is a fantastic actress," adding, "We'd be lucky to have her back in the industry."
When asked about his willingness to return alongside the actress-turned-Duchess for a spinoff, Adams said, "Let's go, I'd do it," and shared his readiness for a storyline involving Mike and Rachel in Seattle. The actor expressed his astonishment at the show's resurgence, stating, "I'm totally astounded it's found a second life. I feel honored. When you walk away from a show, you think that's it and you're going to move on to something else, and just to know that a whole new generation of people are finding."
For the unversed, Suits showcased Mike and Rachel quitting Pearson Specter Litt and shifting to Seattle and run their law firm. Mike and Rachel's law firm usually handled class-action lawsuits against Fortune 500 companies. However, after Mike and Rachel's marriage, the actress exited the show as she got married to Prince Harry and became the Duchess of Sussex.
Since Meghan is now living in the US along with her husband and children, she may make a comeback in the Suits spinoff series if there is any.
