Kangana Ranaut's comparison of Mumbai with the POK has sparked a new controversy. Recently, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut told Kangana not to come back to Mumbai if she has no faith in Mumbai Police. The actress then sternly replied, "Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?"

After this many Bollywood actors including Renuka Shahane slammed Kangana. Shahane wrote, "Dear @KanganaTeam Mumbai is the city where your dream of becoming a Bollywood star has been fulfilled, one would expect you to have some respect for this wonderful city. It's appalling how you compared Mumbai with POK! उचलली जीभ आणि लावली टाळ्याला ."

"Dear @KanganaTeam I am all for criticizing Govts. But "why Mumbai is feeling like POK" seems to me like a direct comparison between Mumbai & POK. Your comparison was really in bad taste. As a Mumbaikar I did not like it! Maybe it was naive of me to expect any better from you," Renuka added.

Now, social media has come in support of Kangana:

A user wrote, "Renuka ji did not get offended when Aamir Khan and Nasiruddin Shah felt insecure in Mumbai, India. She was quiet when radical Congress coined Hindu Terror theory. She was quiet on Shashi Tharoor's Hindu Taliban and Hindu Pakistan terms."

Another user wrote, "Is @rautsanjay61 going to tell @aamir_khan & Naseer Sahib to get out of India? They were scared of living in India itself while one saw love in Caliph land and other in Pakistan."

"The man @aamir_khan who wanted to leave India fearing Modi's Intolerance today will be happiest man reading the most tolerant , democratic and inclusive statement of Anil Deshmukh," added another user.
