Twinkle Khanna posted on Twitter on May 5 (Wednesday) urging people to donate to help hospitals in India get oxygen concentrators so that more lives can be saved. This was a collaboration between ANNADA and the Daivik Foundation. Twinkle's post was shared on Twitter by a retired IAS officer, who wrote that Akshay Kumar is one of the country's wealthiest actors, and that it would have been easier if their family had shown a little more compassion.

It would have been easier if your family had demonstrated a bit more kindness instead of pretending to support others by raising donations.”
Twinkle Khanna revealed on Instagram last month that she and her husband Akshay Kumar had donated 100 oxygen concentrators to help battle the Covid-19 pandemic.She replied to a user, "Dr. Drashnika Patel and Dr. Govind Bankani of London Elite Health are donating 120 oxygen concentrators through the Daivik Foundation, and @akshaykumar and I have gotten our hands on another 100, for a total of 220. Thank you for the details. Let us should do our part. "Twinkle sent out a tweet.
Twinkle wrote in a separate tweet: "I've been in a bit of a funk for the last few weeks, what with members of my own family being sick. I couldn't sit there for long, though. I implore each of you to do everything you can in your own way so that we can look back on this dark time and say that it brought out the best of all of us. #ilookforSilverLinings."
