National award-winning Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been a centre of debate since her fiery interview with Republic TV. Kangana called out the hypocrisy of Bollywood during the interview. She took big names like Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar and many more. Kangana pointed out how the industry works in a vicious cycle where outsiders, who benefit from their association with directors (whom she named), fail to see her fight against nepotism. She claimed that it is foreseeable that, after the interview, "the whole system will work to make (her) look like a mad person".

After her interview, many claimed that Kangana is doing all these things to settle her personal vendetta. Some people even termed her audacity as a publicity stunt. After such claims, social media has come in support of Kangana Ranaut.
