New Cabinet of Punjab announced; two big names missing from the list, 10 ministers got place in Mann’s Sarkar

New ministers will take the oath tomorrow at 11 am at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh, 10 ministers to take the oath. The first cabinet meeting is to be held at 12:30 am

The new ministers of Punjab’s cabinet will take the oath tomorrow at 11 am at the Raj Bhavan Chandigarh. Bhagwant Mann the new CM of Punjab shared the list of potential ministers on his Twitter account. The list includes the names of Harpal Singh Cheema, Dr. Baljit Kaur, Harbhajan Singh ETO, Dr. Vijay Singla, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare, Harjot Singh Bains, Lal Chand Kataruchak, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Bram Shankar.

There are two big names missing from the list. Aman Aroa. He is from Sunam, recorded the highest victory margin in the Punjab assembly election by defeating Congress Jaswinder Dhiman. Aman Arora became the MLA for the second time. He was highly expected to be on the list. The missing name of Aman Arora shows that the party is still not clear about the Deputy CM face of Punjab.

The second name is of Former IG Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh. The winner from Amritsar North on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ticket, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh is a 1998-batch IPS officer. 
 
  He resigned after the Punjab and Haryana High Court quashed the probe report filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Kotkapura firing case.

These names are missing from the list. There are 17 cabinet members supposed in Bhagwant Mann’s cabinet. And only 10 are announced. There is still hope for both of them.

There are 5 Dalit ministers shared in the list by Bhagwant Mann. Two ministers are from Majha and one from Doaba which means 7 faces are from Malwa. Bhagwant Mann is also from the Malwa region. AAP won 66 seats from Malwa.

There is a possibility that the other regions will get more seats in the next expansion of the cabinet expected in a few days.
