India's politics are on peak ever since Lok Sabha Elections Results 2024 were announced on Tuesday. In the Lok Sabha Election Results 2024, the BJP-led NDA bagged 294 seats out of 543 crossing the magical figure of 272 needed to form the government. The Congress-led INDIA alliance also performed relatively well winning 234 seats, 38 less than the majority mark. The Lok Sabha Election Results 2024 turned out to be a disaster for the BJP as the saffron party could not reach the majority mark, leaving alone the 'Abki Baar 400 Paar' clarion call of PM Modi. As a result, the INDIA bloc bosses dialed Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and invited him back to the alliance offering him the Deputy PM post. Confusion reached its peak when Nitish Kumar boarded the same flight as Tejashwi Yadav while going to Delhi from Bihar for their respective NDA and INDIA alliance meeting.

Now, it is said that Nitish Kumar-led JDU has tabled its wishlist to the BJP in order to keep supporting the saffron party and ultimately Narendra Modi as the PM of India. A news portal quoted a top source in the known development that JDU has given its 'wishlist' that it expects to be fulfilled in the Modi Government 3.0.  As per reports, JDU's first demand is 'three cabinet berths' i.e. three position of its MPs in the Modi government and their second demand is two MoS (Minister of State) positions.

Notably, JDU's demands may start a domino effect and BJP's other winning allies may also start to make their own demands. Therefore, the onus is now on BJP Chief JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and even Narendra Modi on how they will do the negotiations to form the NDA government.

PM Modi mentions Nitish Kumar in his victory speech

PM Modi's victory speech raised many eyebrows when he specially mentioned and gave a big shoutout to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and TDP's Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing at party headquarters, PM Modi said, "Under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar, NDA has performed extremely well in Andhra Pradesh and Bihar"

Slamming the opposition, PM Modi said, "INDIA bloc did not win as many seats as the BJP alone did. This is the first time the BJP will have a Chief Minister on the land of Lord Jagannath (Odisha). BJP won a seat in Kerala too. Our Kerala workers have made a lot of sacrifices but kept serving the public. The moment they waited for generations is here. In Telangana, our numbers have doubled. In Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal, and many other states, our party almost made a clean sweep."
