NIA raids gangster Goldy Brar's house in Moosewala murder case: Team also reaches shoe seller's residence to interrogate

NIA teams reached several locations in Delhi, NCR, Haryana, and Punjab.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided 50 places in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case. NIA teams reached several locations in Delhi, NCR, Haryana, and Punjab. A team raided Muktsar in the morning the house of gangster Goldy Brar on Kotkapura Road and a shoe seller's house in Pippal Wali Gali with the help of Muktsar police.

The NIA team first reached the house of a shoe seller in Pippal Wali Link Gali located in Bagwali Gali and questioned the family members regarding mobile SIM. According to the information, the head of the family used to have a BSNL company number four years ago, which he had closed. But this number was later reissued by someone. It is being said that this number is now used by some gangsters.

On the information of the team's arrival, the people of the street and BJP's district president Rajesh Gora also reached the spot. The team then reached the house of gangster Goldy Brar, where the family members are being interrogated. The family of gangster Goldy Brar lives in Muktsar. Goldie Brar's father Shamsher Singh was an ASI in Punjab Police, who was dismissed in the year 2021. It is also being said that the family has ousted Goldy Brar.

The NIA also reached to Gujjarpura area of Amritsar in search of Sonu Kahngla’s house. The interrogation with the family members is still going on. Sonu Kangla for the time being is out on bail. Dalbir Kaur, mother of Sonu is also being questioned by the NIA.

The gangsters have created havoc in many states and they also getting indulged in gang wars. The Home Ministry was keeping an eye on their activities after which meetings were held in New Delhi. It was decided that the gangs were acting like terrorist organizations. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was not happy and reportedly directed the NIA to look into the issue and if possible, lodge fresh cases to stop their activities. After getting a nod, the NIA geared up to uproot the networks of these gangsters.
