NIA's crackdown on gangsters: Raids at Gurdaspur and Amritsar, houses of Sonu Kangla, Shubham and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria searched

The NIA has been conducting raids at 60 locations from Monday morning across North India of all the top-notch gangsters.

The National Investigation Agency has been initiating action against big gangsters like Neeraj Bawana, Kapil Sangwan and Lawrence Bishnoi. The NIA has been conducting raids at 60 locations from Monday morning across North India of all the top-notch gangsters.

A raid was being carried out at Jaggu Bhgwanpuria’s house and at the same time houses of Shubham and Sonu Kangla are also being searched because of being closely associated with the gangsters. The relatives and family members of Sonu Kangla are also being interrogated by the NIA.

Reportedly, the NIA came with Punjab Police Team and sealed the entire village to investigate the house of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. A team of 100 people searched. All the NIA officials were tight-lipped when contacted.

The team also reached Shubham’s house but had to go empty-handed as his house had been vacant for a long time. The team got some information about Shuham from the neighbors as well.

Post this, the NIA also reached to Gujjarpura area of Amritsar in search of Sonu Kahngla’s house. The interrogation with the family members is still going on. Sonu Kangla for the time being is out on bail. Dalbir Kaur, mother of Sonu is also being questioned by the NIA.

The gangsters have created havoc in many states and they also getting indulged in gang wars. The Home Ministry was keeping an eye on their activities after which meetings were held in New Delhi. It was decided that the gangs were acting like terrorist organizations. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was not happy and reportedly directed the NIA to look into the issue and if possible, lodge fresh cases to stop their activities. After getting a nod, the NIA geared up to uproot the networks of these gangsters.
