Super Mario fans are in for a treat today as the live action movie based on the all-time classic Nintendo game releases on 7th April. Fans can see Mario take on the villainous Bowser with the help of Princess Peach, as they try and foil his plans to conquer the world. Chris Pratt plays the role of Mario while Anya Taylor Joy voices princess peach. The fan favorite character of Luigi is voiced by Charlie Day while the antagonist Bowser is voiced by Jack Black.
The movie is a nostalgic trip down memory lane for many fans who grew up guiding the Italian plumber on his way to saving Princess Peach and in the process, saving the world. The movie is available on OTT platforms and theatres in America. In India though the movie can be views in cinemas only as yet. Considering the reach of the characters and the story, Universal might choose to use amazon prime, its preferred OTT platform in India to bring the movie to the masses.
