NITI Aayog Recruitment 2020: How to apply, required qualifications, salary and other details

NITI Aayog has released an official notification for candidates to apply for the following position:- Senior Research Officer/ Research Officer, Economic Officer, Director and Deputy Director-General vacancies. 

The online application process has started and there are a total of 30 vacancies. The last date to apply for the above-mentioned position is December 24, 2020.

The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) is the premier policy Think Tank of the Government of India. It is involved in several transformational initiatives as a catalyst and acts as a device of change across sectors in partnership with Central Ministries and the State Governments.

Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) is an attached office of NITI Aayog to fulfil the mandate of Monitoring and Evaluation assigned to NITI Aayog.

•  Director: 11 posts
•  Senior Research Officer/Research Officer: 13 posts
•  Deputy Director-General: 3 posts

Required Educational qualifications for NITI Aayog Recruitment 2020: 

•   For Senior Research Officer/Research Officer:- Masters' degree in any discipline or MBBS or degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university.
•   For Economic Officer:- The candidate should have a postgraduate degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognised university.

•  Log on to the official website of NITI Aayog: niti.gov.in.
•  Under "Work With NITI," click on "Vacancy Circular".
•  On the new page, select the recruitment you wish to apply for and click on "Apply online".
•  Click on "Register" and create your login account.
•  Already registered candidates need to enter their email id and password.
•  Click on login.
•  Fill the application form and upload all the required documents.
•  Click on the "Finish and Apply For Position" button.
•  Take a print out and keep it safe as it will be required at the time of interview if shortlisted.

•   Senior Research Officer: Rs 1,25,000 (Consolidated Pay for contractual appointment)
•   Research Officer: Rs 1,05,000 (Consolidated Pay for contractual appointment)
•   Economic Officer: Rs 85,000 (Consolidated Pay for a contractual appointment)
•   Director: Rs 2,15,900 (Consolidated Pay for contractual appointment)
