Prominent industrialist and AAP's Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge, Nitin Kohli, on Sunday, kickstarted his political journey by visiting multiple religious places. Nitin Kohli's spiritual outreach aimed to seek divine blessings and connect with the local community in a spirit of unity and reverence. Kohli began his spiritual outreach with a visit to Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, the spiritual organization founded by Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. During his visit, he received blessings and guidance from the spiritual leaders of the Sansthan. He then visited the revered Baba Muradshah Dargah in Nakodar.
As per his scheduled visits, Nitin Kohli then visited multiple key religious sites in the city, receiving strong public support and spiritual encouragement. Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge then visited Shri Maha Lakshmi Mandir, where Kohli, along with his family, offered prayers and sought divine guidance. He then visited Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir in Ali Mohalla and finally bowed in reverence at Gurdwara Sahib Diwan Asthan located in Jalandhar Central Town.
Nitin Kohli was accompanied by his wife Nidhi Kohli, Jalandhar Mayor Vaneet Dhir, Amritpal , Distt President AAP Improvement Trust Chairperson Rajwinder Thiara, Jalandhar North Halka Incharge Dinesh Dhall, Jalandhar Senior Deputy Mayor Balbir Singh Dhillon, AAP leader Kaku Ahluwalia, Senior AAP leader Robin Sampla, many councillors, and prominent leaders of AAP.
Speaking during the yatra, Nitin Kohli said, “This is a moment of deep gratitude. It is through the grace of the Almighty and the love of the people of Jalandhar that I have reached this point. I humbly seek their continued blessings as I serve this constituency.”

Nitin Kohli has been among the prominent industrialists of Punjab. After inducting Nitin Kohli into the AAP, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia had highlighted that industrialists are increasingly seeing AAP as a platform that understands and supports economic development.
Sisodia had also lavished praise on Nitin Kohli, saying, "Today is a very happy day for the AAP family as Punjab's well-known personality, industrialist, and a responsible citizen has joined the Aam Aadmi Party officially. Since the inception of the Aam Aadmi Party, Nitin Kohli has been working for the party. You all know him. He is not new to the people of Jalandhar. Along with his family business in Jalandhar, he has stepped into multiple businesses. He has given jobs to 2500 people from Punjab. He is contributing to Punjab's economy."
After becoming Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge, Nitin Kohli laid out his development-focused vision for the city, emphasizing that all initiatives will be aimed at the welfare of the public and in line with the party’s direction. Kohli had stressed the urgent need to get both SEZs sanctioned, noting the critical role they play in reviving local industry. “The leather trade has shifted to Kanpur. We will try to bring that business back to Punjab,” he added. He reaffirmed his commitment to resolving public grievances and driving development work across the city.
