No CBI investigation in Moosewala Murder case: SC refuses to hear the petition

There will be no Central Investigation Agency (CBI) probe into Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case.

There will be no CBI investigation into the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The petition submitted in this matter has been rejected by the Supreme Court. According to the Supreme Court, the Punjab Police is looking into it, so there is no need for a CBI inquiry.

The Supreme Court advised that the Moosewala murder case should not be mixed with politics. After which the Supreme Court refused a further hearing. Mansa BJP leader Jagjit Milkha has filed this petition.

Balkaur Singh, the father of Sidhu Moosewala, has also raised questions about the investigation. He claims that the two sinners who murdered Moosewala have not yet been taken into custody by the law. He had asked the High Court Justice to conduct an investigation, in which CBI and NIA should also help. In Chandigarh, he also met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and demanded an investigation from the central organization.

The Punjab Police is not getting much success in the investigation of the Moosewala murder case. The Punjab Police have undoubtedly apprehended 14 people who assisted in the murder, but they were unable to arrest any sharpshooters. Whereas the Special Cell of Delhi Police caught 3 sharpshooters Priyavart Fauji, Ankit Sersa and Kashish alias Kuldeep. Punjab Police is limited to interrogation by bringing them on production warrant.
