IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman Indo-Pak Tension

India has responded to Pakistan's offer to negotiate the return of Indian Air Force's Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman in which the neighbour country wants India to de-escalate the tension post the air combat.

India has asked Pakistan to immediately return Wing Commander Abhinandan without any terms and conditions.

Pakistan Foreign Minister re-instated the fact that Pakistan is a responsible country and wants peace.

"I want to assure the Indian public that your pilot is safe here. We are aware of Geneva Convention. The pilot is absolutely safe here, we are taking care of him pretty well, including medicine and food," he said.

"We don't have a personal enmity with him. Pakistan is ready to take necessary steps to de-escalate the current situation," he added.

However, Fatima Bhutto, the grand daughter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto asked Pakistan government to stand for peace and release the IAF pilot.
