The Rajput’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh has also cited that the case is more appropriate for the CBI invention because there are two states involved alongside the fight for jurisdiction as Mumbai police have not cooperated with Bihar police for the probe. It has also alleged that the Bihar police have been manhandled and humiliated by the Mumbai police while crucial documents of the case, including autopsy, CCTV footage, and other important reports were not shared with the Bihar police and hence the CBI probe to the matter is completely valid to get justice.
