In a shocking development, global OTT giant Netflix has decided not to continue with Fate: The Winx Saga Season 3. Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 was released on September 16, 2022, and in a matter of few days, it became number 1 in multiple countries including India. For the unversed, Fate: The Winx Saga series is a young adult show, inspired by Nickelodeon's animated Winx Club series. Fate: The Winx Saga brought its own magical blend of ancient magic, teen angst, and end-of-the-world drama. Basically, all the ingredients for one addictive watch. As a result, the teen fantasy drama hit the chartbuster of Netflix. At first, Netflix expected that Fate: The Winx Saga has the potential to reach the likes of its massive hits like Stranger Things and Bridgerton, however, the global OTT giant reportedly does not see a good future for the Brian Young directorial. Notably, Brian Young who worked on seven seasons of The Vampire Diaries, is the creator and showrunner of Fate: The Winx Saga.

After the hit of seaon 2, fans were eagerly trying to know about Fate: The Winx Saga Season 3, however, Brian shared the development with those fans. Brian in his long note wrote that Netflix has decided not to move forward with Fate: The Winx Saga 3. Furthermore, Brain expressed that he is heartbroken with the development, but it is a reality now that Netflix is no longer interested in this project.

As soon as Brian revealed it, fans were shell-shocked and expressed their displeasure with Netflix. A user wrote, "Can't believe in this :( season 2 was so great and make me wonder how the show would follow in the next seasons… and the trix…. I’m so sad :("

Another user wrote, "Can we all agree that Netflix deserves to burn??? This decision is unbelievable given the fact of the show's popularity! They are canceling wonderful shows and renewing atomic bombs without any content! I'm hoping Fate's rights go to some other distributor and we get a third season!"

"The fact that Fate was able to top charts being the most watched in both seasons and not moving forward with the project?… just why?…I think we need explanations…" added another user.

It is pertinent to mention here that recently, Hollywood actor Henry Cavil announced that is leaving the much-acclaimed The Witcher starcast and returning to the DC universe as Superman. Furthermore, it was announced that Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth will now be portraying the character of Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming The Witcher series.
