Noida Dog Attack: 7-month-old infant mauled to death by stray dog in Lotus Boulevard society

In yet another horrific incident of the stray dog attack, a 7-month-old infant was mauled to death by a dog in Noida’s high-rise society late Monday evening.

The baby was rushed to city-based Yatharth Hospital but to no avail and succumbed to the injuries while undergoing surgery in the ICU.

Based on the reports, the child’s intestines were pulled out in the terrifying attack. It is another addition to the series of reports surfacing from the region that has left the residents terrified.

Outraged by the incident the society members are demanding to take stringent action from the Noida authority.

As per one of the member protesting, there are several stray dogs in the society’s basement that are being fed by the residents. The society members informed that the child belonged to a laborer who was inside the society premises owing to construction-related work.

One of the residents elaborated on the matter saying, “Notably, this is not the first incident of a stray dog attacking someone in society as it happens every 3-4 months. We have complained about this to the Noida authority and to the AOA too, but they did not take any action.”

Later after the incident, the AOA secretary of the society said the team had been in conversation with the Noida Authority that has ensured action owing to the matter to sort out the prevailing menace.

Pertinently, the child died in the wee hours this morning after fighting the excruciating battle of life the whole night. The body has been handed over to the parents who have left for Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh to perform the last rites of their baby.

The matter has been taken under remand by Sector 39 Noida Police to reach a consolidated consensus due in the matter.
