Noida man brutally stabbed, dragged along with bike by cousins for revenge; 2 arrested

In a harrowing incident, a man was stabbed with a knife dragged while tied to a bike by his cousins in Noida, Uttar Pradesh for avenging an attack on one of the accused’s father. The video of the accused dragging the victim along on their bike is now going viral on Social Media. According to reports, the man identified as Mehndi Hasan was injured after being stabbed in a fight following which he was dragged to Baraula village on Saturday (January 20) night. An old rivalry was in play, which caused the horrific incident to occur.

 

The deceased was taken to a private hospital for treatment following the incident where he succumbed to his injuries. Both the accused have been arrested. The accused have been identified as Anuj and Nitin who are cousins. Tensions escalated in Baraula village after the incident occured.

 

They brought Mehandi Hasan to Baraula Police Station by dragging him behind the bike. A crowd gathered on the spot after hearing the commotion, and rescued the victim and took him to a private hospital. The injured succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. As per reports, Mehandi had stabbed Anuj's father in 2018, and a case was registered against him. Anuj had a grudge against Mehandi since the case was registered against him and they had several disputes in the court.

 

Anuj and Nitin reportedly surrendered themselves to the police. They were injured in the police firing after they attacked the officials who were taking them to the crime spot for the recovery of the weapon.

 

According to reports, Anuj is a resident of Baraula who works at a private hospital and his cousin Nitin is involved in a dairy business. On Saturday night, There was a heated argument between the accused and Mehndi. The argument escalated and the pair attacked Mehndi with a knife and tied him to his bike. They then proceeded to drag him along around the village. Both the accused have been arrested. Charges have been filed against the accused and legal action is being pursued.
