In a series of tweets, Bollywood Actor Taapsee Pannu today finally broke her silence over alleged tax evasion and raids by IT department. She addressed all the allegations made against her in the tweet and even cracked a joke saying ‘Not so sasti anymore’.

She said three days of intense search of three things primarily. “The Keys of the alleged bungalow that I apparently own in Paris, because summer holidays are around the corner”, she tweeted.

The other tweet reads, “The alleged receipt worth 5 crores to frame and keep for future pitching because I have been refused that money before”.

In the last one she wrote, “My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister”. P.S – “Not so sasti” anymore!, she said.

According to Taapsee these are what the income-tax (I-T) department primarily found during its raid on properties linked to her. However, she in the series of tweets using the ‘alleged’ word showed no connections to what the IT department has been quoting.

Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu have been vocal on social media platforms and have also raised concerns over the farmers' protest, which has been going on on the borders of the national capital since November 26 last year against the three new farm laws. Recently, Taapsee even criticised the tweets by bollywood celebrities in support of the government in response to pop star Rihanna's post drawing attention to the farmers' agitation.

Even Taapsee rumored boyfriend Boe had tweeted on Thursday: "Finding myself in a bit of turmoil. Representing. for the first time as a coach for some great athletes, meanwhile I-T department is raiding Taapsee's houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. @KirenRijiju please do something."

Meanwhile, reacting to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe tweet, sports minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted, "Law of the land is supreme and we must abide by that. The subject matter is beyond yours and my domain. We must stick to our professional duties in the best interest of Indian Sports”.
