Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Thursday said that now a citizen of the district can lodge their complaint against any government department on the Punjab Government’s new grievance redressal portal www.connect.Punjab.Gov.in through Sewa Kendra’s.
Disclosing more information, the Deputy Commissioner said that the portal has been launched by the Punjab Government to ensure a time-bound resolve of the citizen’s concerns. He said that this web portal aims to address all the issues of the citizens at the earliest with all the government departments on this one-stop digital platform.
He told people either can file a complaint directly or visit nearby Sewa Kendras to submit a complaint with the required documents.
Thori said that a facilitation fee of Rs 10 would be collected by the Sewa Kendra. He said that there are not any other government fees or form filling charges.
He said that directions have already been given to the officials to strictly adhere to the timely resolution of the complaints filed by the citizen on the portal. Deputy Commissioner said that the Punjab Government is committed to giving topmost priority to settle all the concerns of citizens as soon as possible on this digital medium.
