NSA Ajit Doval gives free hand to paramilitary forces to bring down Delhi violence, visited northeast Delhi in midnight

The NSA has made it clear that lawlessness would not be allowed to remain in the national capital and an adequate number of police forces and paramilitary forces have been deployed.

With northeast Delhi burning terribly, Modi Government has opted National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to bring down the normalcy in Delhi. As soon as US President Donald Trump flew back to home, Ajit Doval was given the responsibility to curb the violent situation of northeast Delhi. He visited the violence-affected area to review the security situation in different parts of North-East Delhi and held talks with leaders of different communities.

As per reports, a total of 17 have died while over 200 people have been injured in the clashes across different parts of northeast Delhi, such as Chand Bagh, Bhajanpura, Gokulpuri, Maujpur and Jaffrabad. Several localities like Chand Bagh, Bhajanpura, Gokulpuri, Maujpur, Kardampuri and Jaffrabad saw pitched battles between the members of two groups who also hurled petrol bombs and opened fire.

Today, Doval is all set to brief Prime Minister office (PMO) and Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on the ongoing situation in Delhi. The NSA has made it clear that lawlessness would not be allowed to remain in the national capital and an adequate number of police forces and paramilitary forces have been deployed.
