The National Testing Agency is likely to declare the result of NEET UG anytime soon. As per the official notifications released earlier September 7th, was scheduled for the declaration of the result, and no announcement of correction on that front implies the NTA is likely to proceed as scheduled.
Once released the candidates can check the scorecard on the official site neet.nta.nic.in.
This year, a total of 18.72 lakh candidates registered for the entrance test. The NEET UG exam was conducted on July 17 with over 95% of the registered candidates appearing in the exam. NEET UG was held across 3,570 centers in 497 cities in India and in 14 cities abroad.
15% of the seats in medical institutions are reserved for the top performing candidates who cross the threshold of cut-off decided by the agency and appear directly in the All India Quota seats.
For the rest, 85% of the seats the agency and concerned institutions roll out the counseling pattern to admit the eligible batch of candidates.
Through the NEET examination candidates are admitted to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, and AH courses. Upon declaration of the result, the agency will release the counseling dates online on its website itself.
NTA had declared the answer key on August 31st and had provided the window to the candidates till September 2nd to raise their concerns.
How to check the NEET UG scorecard:
• Visit the official website - neet.nta.nic.in
• Click the “Result – NEET (UG) 2022” link flashing on the website.
• Enter your credentials for the NEET 2021 entrance exam and log in.
• Your NEET 2022 results will be displayed.
• Take a printout for future reference after downloading it.
