NYC: 61-year-old FDNY EMS woman brutally stabbed on streets in horrific CCTV footage; killer arrested

Entire America went into shock after an FDNY Emergency Medical Services lieutenant was brutally stabbed in Queens on Thursday afternoon. FDNY Emergency Medical Services lieutenant named Alison Russo-Elling, 61 was brutally stabbed multiple times on Thursday in the middle of the street. The New York FDNY Lt. murder CCTV footage has been going viral on social media showing how barbarically Alison Russo was stabbed while she was on duty. What is even more concerning is that in the NYC FDNY Lt. murder video show, people crossing by Alison not even attended to her or called for help while she was laying on the ground after being stabbed. The FDNY Lt.murder took place when Alison was on duty and a man stabbed her multiple times "in a barbaric and completely unprovoked attack" just outside her EMS station in Astoria.

In the viral NYC FDNY Alison CCTV footage, it can be seen clearly that when Alison took a halt on the street she was attacked by a man from behind in the middle of the street. The attacker slammed Alison to the ground in a sudden attack and brutally stabbed her multiple times in the middle of the street and fled from the spot after that. Going by the video, the attacker stabbed Alison for at least 23 times. When she was breathing her last, the man casually stands up and watches here & there and finally flees from the spot. Notably, there are multiple people in the car who can be seen at the spot, however, no one stopped the killer from committing the crime. In fact, two commuters pass by Alison and did not even try to help her or even call 911.

NYC FDNY LT. murder case

The barbaric incident took place outside Alison's EMS station in Astoria. As per US media reports, Alison was walking to get food when a 34-year-old man with a knife stabbed her numerous times at the corner of 20th Avenue and 41st Street. Reportedly, a witness followed the attacker who went into an apartment building on 41st Street where he hid inside his third-floor apartment. The Police then arrested the attacker who was identified as Peter Zisopoulos. The murder weapon i.e. a knife was also recovered by the Police in connection with the senseless attack on the 61-year-old paramedic. Peter Zisopoulos of Queens is now facing murder and weapons charges. Notably, why Peter stabbed Alison has not been revealed yet, as the investigation is still going on but netizens are in shock how the commuters ignored the brutal attack on Alison. It is pertinent to mention here that Russo was rushed to Mount Sinai Queens, where she died.
