Coming to Oh My God 2 storyline, the movie revolves around a staunch theist of Lord Shiva- Pankaj Tripathi who plays the character of Kanti Sharan Mudgal. Kanti Sharan Mudgal owns a shop in the complex outside Lord Shiva's temple and he is a great believer in him. However, his normal daily life changes, when his son was rusticated from a lavish British School as he was shot masturbating in the school's loo and thereafter his video goes viral in the city. Not only this, Kanti Sharan Mudgal's family had to face public humiliation due to this and ultimately they decide to leave the town. And there entry of Akshay Kumar sent by Lord Shiva enters the story.
