On Mother's day Amrita Rao opens up about Breastfeeding being a taboo

Amrita Rao, a Bollywood actress, may be out of the spotlight, but she never forgets to interact with her fans on social media. Amrita, who has appeared in films such as 'Ishq Vishk,' 'Vivah,' 'Main Hoon Na,' and others, is now embarking on a new chapter in her life.

She and husband RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy in November last year, and she talked about her excitement for her first Mother's Day in an exclusive interview, 'It feels very special,' she said. I recall how, on Mother's Day last year, my entire family was wishing me and I had my tummy right out there.

She further added,"you realize what a mother can accomplish. Nobody else can take care of her the way she does; no one can replace a mother. So many things change the moment you see the boy. You would be able to feed the child at any time of day or night. You might be surprised by yourself."

On Twitter, RJ Anmol, Amrita's husband earlier shared a "surreal" photo of Amrita and the little munchkin. The actress is seen breastfeeding their baby while sitting on the floor in the picture.

"Amrita feeding Veer is the most beautiful sight for me," he said. The experience was described by RJ Anmol as "surreal, mystical, and almost divine." He also wrote in his caption about how Amrita performs the "toughest duty" of being a mother while maintaining a smile on her face.

RJ Anmol went on to say that he "salutes" his mom, Amrita, and all mothers around the world. He ended his note by saying that he doesn't need to wait for Mother's Day to express his gratitude to all of the mothers out there.
