Open Mic Season 3: Seven speakers share their motivational stories at CT World School

CT Group organized Open Mic - Season 3 in which seven speakers from varied fields shared their life struggle, challenges and accomplishments.

Giving a platform to people who are contributing their bits in the society, and to share their inspiring stories, CT Group organised one of its kind events named Open Mic Season-3 at CT World School. In this, seven speakers from varied fields shared their life struggle, challenges and accomplishments.

 

Speakers namely Malika Handa, World Chess Champion (Deaf and Mute); Shaina Kochar, Life Coach and TV Presenter; Preet Inder Dhillon, Author, Columnist and Radio Presenter from the UK; Ishu Joshi, Choreographer, Make-Up Artist; Narinder Kaur, Wheelchair Dancer and Motivator; Jagwinder Jodha, Renowned poet and Editor Punjabi Section PAU Ludhiana; Kanta Chohan, Rapido Woman Driver and special guest Gurjot Kaur, a senior media professional (Ajit Group) and entrepreneur shared their life inspiring stories with the audience gathered. A guest performance was given by CT Group students namely Mayank Bhardwaj and Sorabh Garru.

 

While sharing her story, Narinder Kaur, Wheelchair Dancer and Motivator said, “We should accept the way we are and should not body shame others. She felt blessed to be the part of a family wherein she was accepted and encouraged to do whatever her heart said. Being an influencer on social media platform, she thanked the people who made her bold enough to accomplish her dream of dancing.”

 

Ishu Joshi, Choreographer and Make-Up Artist shared his roller coaster ride from rejection to acceptance for the aura he possesses. He also added that gender has nothing to do with the profession and every being if taken birth is the part of this world and has right to fulfill the dreams his/her heart have.

 

Kanta Chohan, Rapido Woman Driver threw light on issues faced by uneducated women in the society especially when they come forward to be the earning hand for family. She shared her heart wrenching story of struggle she undertook during COVID. She was overwhelmed by the gesture of Jalandhar authorities with whom help she is able to earn her livelihood. She also added that it’s all the thought process that leads you towards success and we should never lose hope.

 

On this occasion, Charanjit S Channi, CT Group Chairman; Manbir Singh, Managing Director; Tanika Singh and Madhu Sharma, Principal CT World School were present along with locals of city. The event was anchored by Public Relations Officer Kanwarpreet Singh and coordinated by Davinder Singh, Deputy Dean, Student Welfare.
