In a massive political development in Punjab, AAP MLAs Sheetal Angural and Raman Arora recorded their statements before the Vigilance Bureau on Monday, October 3. After recording the statement to the Vigilance Bureau, AAP MLAs Sheetal Angural and Raman Arora spoke on the alleged Operation Lotus in Punjab in the special session of the Vidhan Sabha. Making serious allegations against Union Ministers Amit Shah and Anurag Thakur, AAP MLA Sheetal Angural said that BJP tried to buy him. Furthermore, Angural alleged that he was approached by the BJP and an offer of Rs 25 crores has been given, which he will be given by Union Minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur.

After making such allegations, now the question arises whether Bhagwant Mann's government is going to take any big action against these two big ministers. Notably, no names of any BJP leaders have been included in the FIR registered regarding Operation Lotus. However, with the AAP MLAs taking the names of Amit Shah and Anurag Thakur in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha special session, the question arises will there is an FIR against them?

Will they be called for questioning after that? If this happens, then there will be a situation of budget conflict between Central and State governments. Amit Shah holds a very important place in Indian politics and in such a situation it will be a big deal to file an FIR against him. It would also be a big deal to call Anurag Thakur too, he is Union Sports Minister at the Center.

Is BJP really trying to buy out AAP MLAs in Punjab?

As Sheetal Angural has massive allegations of horse-trading against Amit Shah and Anurag Singh Thakur in the Vidhan Sabha, the State Government has no other option left but to file a case against the Union Ministers.

The government has very limited options as whatever is said in the Vidhan Sabha remains on record if the Speaker allows it. It is believed that a case will be registered against Anurag Thakur and Amit Shah. If FIR against Amit Shah and Anurag Thakur will be registered, then the Punjab Police will have to summon both Union Ministers for questioning. It is further to see what will be the reaction of the BJP on this and whether the leaders of AAP will come on the radar of the central agencies.
