Rumours of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding have been floating around for some time now. In a recent interview, Ranbir has finally addressed these rumours and speculations, admitting that he and Alia do intend to get married soon. On being asked about the wedding date, Ranbir came with the sassiest reply ever.
Speaking to NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor said, "Mujhe paagal kutte ne nahi kaata hai ki main media ko announce kardu date (No rabid dog has bit me that I would give out a date during a media interaction). But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon."
Alia's father Mahesh Bhatt recently reacted to their wedding rumours. "Rumours. They have been going on and on for a long long time,” said Mahesh Bhatt.
Earlier, Ranbir’s aunt Rima Kapoor said, “Nothing that I know of as yet. They will get married but I don’t know when. They will decide and then suddenly you will all get to know.”
Last month Alia in an interview with a different news portal had stated that she is married to Ranbir Kapoor in her head for a long time. "He is right but, in my head, I am married to Ranbir, in fact, I am married to Ranbir in my head for a long time. Everything happens for a reason. Whenever we do get married it will work out right and in a beautiful way, "Alia Bhatt had said.

Talking about the work front, Alia has been enjoying the success of RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi. She will be next seen in Ayan Mukherjee’s Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor. Alia and Ranbir have been dating for more than five years after they started working together on their upcoming film Brahmastra. Recently, they wrapped up a shoot in Varanasi.
