Horrific visuals emerged from Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday after 8 people including 6 children & 2 men were left trapped inside a cable car that was left dangling 900ft in the air over a deep valley. Till the last development, the Pakistani Army was called in for the rescue operation to save the 8 people onboard. As per reports, one of the cables on which the cable car was operational snapped mid-air leaving all the people onboard trapped & in a panic situation. To be precise, the incident took place above a river canyon in the Allai Tehsil area of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. As per Pakistani media reports the 8 people have been trapped inside the cable car for more than 6 hours and therefore, Pakistan's caretaker PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar ordered a helicopter to be dispatched to the site to aid rescue efforts. Now, Pakistan Cable Car dangling video are spreading like wildfire on social media with netizens horrified at such deadly scenes.

Why the Pakistani Army has still not rescued the stuck passengers?

Well, the answer is dangling Cable Car. One of the many Pakistan Cable Car videos shows one helicopter trying to approach the drooping cable car as crowds watch from down below. A Pakistani media quoted an eyewitness who informed that the cable car began to shake violently as the aircraft grew closer, forcing authorities to consider other ideas. The rescue operation has been termed 'extremely risky' by the Pakistani Disaster Management Team as powerful winds are also hampering the rescue attempt amid fears the chopper's rotor blades could further damage the cables that remain supporting the lift.

While people remained trapped inside the cable car, another team of the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG) is on the way to the Allai tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Battagram. The Pakistani Army is reportedly considering a different approach now. Under the second & new strategy, the army chopper is trying to spread nets under the cable car. Allai Assistant Commissioner Jawad Hussain was quoted by Pakistani media who informed that the area was surveyed for 15 minutes.
