The Pakistani Army recently targeted certain locations in Jammu, including the airstrip, by artillery fire and drone attacks on Thursday evening. This attack was scheduled just a day after India fired a strike on Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Various places of Jammu, including Jammu civil airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia and Akhnoor were targeted by Pakistan by the unmanned aerial vehicles, which are shortly named as UAVs.
Fortunately, as of now, no casualty or major damage has been reported. Along with this, certain
reports have outlined that these missiles were successfully intercepted by the S-400 air defence system.
Sources have claimed that these missiles and drones were neutralised mid-air with the help of coordinated deployment of advanced technologies.
Along with this, the air base in Pathankot was also targeted. Not just this, the artillery shelling was also found in Kupwara and Udhampur with some nearby areas.
Swift response by the Indian Defence System -
This recent attack by the Pakistani military was neutralised by the Indian defence systems with a swift response. Air sirens and raids were activated in Akhnoor and Kishtwar of Jammu Division. Along with this, a complete blackout was also enforced.
