After India's fresh retaliatory strikes on Pakistan, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) addressed a press briefing on Thursday evening. To address the press conference, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh appeared before the media. While both the security officials gave details about India's retaliatory actions in Pakistan, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri addressed several other controversies, including whether NSAs of both countries have talked to each other or not, and the lies that Pakistan is flooding social media with.

What raised everyone's eyebrows was when Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri denied Pakistani claims that India targeted the Noseri Dam structure at the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project. Misri further warned Pakistan of severe consequences if Pakistan targets similar structures of India.

Vikram Misri said, "Pakistan attacked a Sikh Gurudwara in Poonch that killed Sikh community members killed. Total of 16 civilians killed in Pakistan shelling along the LoC."

“Any further action by Pakistan is an escalation by Pakistan, which will be responded to appropriately. The allegation of India targeting the Neelam-Jhelam dam is a complete fabrication. These are a pretext for Pakistan's plan for similar attacks. Pakistan should remember the consequences for such action,” Misri added.
