Panchayat 4 Episode 1
Panchayat Season 4 starts with Sachiv Ji anxious about his 'CAT' future as Bhushan aka Banrakas has filed an FIR against him under section 123. If proven, Sachiv Ji can face up to 1 year in prison. In the last season, it was Sachiv Ji who slapped Banrakas after he expressed his suspicion that Pradhan Ji might have plotted his own murder.
Fearing for his IIM career, Sachiv Ji goes to Banrakas' house and apologizes to him and requests him to take back the FIR. However, Banrakas puts a condition that Pradhan Ji take back the FIR that he has filed under section 302 against him. For Sachiv Ji, Pradhan Ji accepts it. However, in the Police station, Banrakas changes the condition that Pradhan ji will have to withdraw MLA's name as well, along with his. Pradhann Ji still accepts it. But, then again, MLA tells Banrakas to add one more condition, i.e., to give back Sitara, the horse that was bought by Deputy Pradhan in Panchayat Season 2.
After this, Sachiv Ji, along with others, refuses to take back the FIR and decides to see everything legally.
Panchayat Season 4 Review
Coming back to Panchayat Season 4 Review, a user on X wrote, "Just finished watching #PanchayatSeason4. Phulera politics has fully taken over the vibe. Lauki vs pressure cooker, samose diplomacy, and full desi-style election tamasha. The charm of old seasons is there... but only in flashes. Kabhi hasi aayi, kabhi laga yeh thoda zyada kheench diya hai. Still, the cast holds it together beautifully. Still, worth a watch on @PrimeVideoIN if you’re loyal to the world of Panchayat… bas expectations ko thoda election result jaise rakho 50/50."
One more user wrote, "Panchayat Season 4 lost its comic charm & leaned too much into politics. While emotional moments were decent, the signature humor was missing. A few standout scenes, but overall it felt dragged and lacked spark. Had potential, but underwhelming."
"#PanchayatS4 - Started off really well then got dragged into politics and drama. Old warmth of Panchayat is not there. Sure there were many glimpes of old magic but overall not worth the wait. Still better than most of ott shows out there," added another user.
