Famous actors Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia will be seensharing screen space in the upcoming romantic, comedy-drama film 'Jab KhuliKitaab'. The film is directed by Saurabh Shukla and is an adaptation ofShukla's play of the same name.
Saurabh Shukla shared, "'Jab Khuli Kitaab' is very close to my heart andI'm thrilled to have stalwarts like Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia as myleads. We all say that one should be transparent and clean in any relationshipbut how many of us are open to face the truth in our own relationships? Thefilm is a rom-com with a couple in their 70s.”
“You see them doing what any teenager will do in their relationships. The filmis a joyride where you laugh, fall in love and cry with this unique couple,"he added.
The film also includes actors such as Aparshakti Khurana, Samir Soni, NauheedCyrusi and others.
The film features an older couple seeking a divorce after 50 years oftogetherness. The film deals with the dysfunctionality of relationships and itsimpact on family, with dollops of humour.
The high-energy repartee and the multi-generational family dynamics at theforefront also make this the rare Hindi comedy that is both universal andintimate.
The film is presented by Applause Entertainment in association with Shoe StrapFilms.

The film is set in the regions of Uttarakhand; the film has recently wrapped itsstart-to-finish schedule in Ranikhet.
