Pargat Singh, on Tuesday, assumed the office as School Education, Higher Education, Sports and Youth Services, NRI Affairs minister here at Punjab Civil Secretariat in the presence of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
While thanking the Congress high command and the Chief Minister, Pargat Singh said that he will try his level best to continue his efforts to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Punjab and party as well.
He assured that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, he and all the staff of his departments would discharge their duties with utmost honesty and transparency.

He said that the Congress government was committed for the overall development of Punjab and concerted efforts will be continued in this direction by all means.
