Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with students and gave them tips on how to beat exam stress at the fifth edition of the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' 2022. Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 event took place at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on Friday. Students, teachers, and parents arrived at the venue and all interacted with PM Modi at the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022. Among the various questions asked from PM Modi, one was about the distractions students face while doing online classes or online education, especially in COVID times.

PM Modi was asked about the distractions and the problem in the mode of education students are facing in the education system, especially in the times of COVID. The hilarious yet series question was answered fluently by PM Modi. In fact, PM Modi took a dig at students saying 'reels dekhna hai padhai karna hai'?

"Here is a question come that you get distracted. I want you all to ask yourself whether you study only or watch reels? In reality, the problem is not online or offline. There must be sometimes when you were all present in class physically but not mentally. Meaning 'mode' of education is not the problem but our own mood is. Therefore I don't think online or offline education is different at all. In earlier times, Gurukul was functional, there was no paper to write upon. They used to learn just by listening to the teachers. It is a part of technological evolution that we can learn things online. Therefore we should think of this as an opportunity," said PM Modi.

PM Modi further said, "Whatever happens offline, same takes place online. This means the medium is not the problem. Irrespective of the medium, if our mind is delved into the subject, then it won't make a difference is grasping things. Online education is based on the principle of attaining knowledge while offline education is regarding sustaining that knowledge and practically applying it further."

PM Modi also suggested students use time table app which can help them and remind them what they should do and how much they do a particular thing online.
