In a determined effort to combat the growing menace of drugs, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pathankot, Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, has taken a bold step by launching the 'You Share-We Care' campaign, urging the public to actively participate by reaching out through dedicated helpline numbers.

Sharing more insights during a press briefing, SSP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh underscored the relentless pursuit to rid district Pathankot of the drug menace. He emphasized the active involvement of all Station House Officers (SHOs) and Government Officials (GOs), who have been tirelessly engaging with the community to understand the ground realities and uproot the drug problem.

To enhance the effectiveness of these interactions, dedicated contact numbers have been made available for each GO and SHO across all three sub-divisions within district Pathankot. Additionally, three Superintendent of Police (SP) rank officers are closely monitoring the process, and their contact numbers are also accessible to the public for reporting drug-related issues.

SSP Khakh encouraged individuals to share any information pertaining to drugs smuggling through the provided helpline numbers. He stressed that anyone possessing information about drug supply networks can utilize this platform for prompt action.

The SSP assured that the identity of informants would remain confidential, and the helpline would operate round the clock to ensure swift responses to reported incidents.

Appealing for cooperation from the community, SSP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh emphasized that the primary objective of this helpline is to eradicate the drug menace. He reiterated the commitment of the state government to transform Punjab into a drug-free state and affirmed that the police administration, with the active support and collaboration of the general public, would work tirelessly to achieve this goal promptly.
