In a shocking development, a low-intensity blast was reported inside the premises of Patna Civil Court on Friday. Patna Civil Court blast took place on Friday in which one on-duty police constable was also injured. Post the shocking development, the Patna Civil Court blast alleged video has been doing rounds on social media in which the hands of the constable can be seen injured in the low-intensity explosion.

Patna Civil Court Blast

For the unversed, Senior Superintendent of Police Patna, Manavjit Singh Dhillon gave details about the Patna Civil Court blast. As per Dhillon, ASI Kadam Kuwan Madan Singh's right hand was injured. However, no other injuries were reported. The blast took place after the police kept gunpowder, which was seized during a raid on a hostel at Patna University, on the premises to ask the court permission for a further probe. Reportedly, the blast happened as soon as it was kept on-premises of the Patna Civil Court by the Police. 

Notably, the Patna Police had carried out massive raids on all the hostels of Patna University and recovered bomb-making material from one of the hostel rooms. The raids were carried out late at night on Sunday after receiving certain inputs of criminal activities ongoing inside the hostel rooms. During this raid, the police recovered gunpowder along with many other bomb-making materials in huge amounts. Furthermore, the police had also arrested some youths from the Patel hostel.
