Vande Bharat Express is surely turning out to be a game changer for India. Made under the 'Make In India' initiative, the Government of India has witnessed a spark in demand for the semi-high-speed train that has modern features. In the meanwhile, the Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express Train update has come. As per reports, the much-awaited Patliputra-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express via Bettiah is set to be inaugurated on June 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the semi-high-speed train from Patliputra Junction.
Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Schedule
According to reports, the Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, with Saturday reserved for maintenance at the Gorakhpur workshop. The train's rake has already reached the Gorakhpur railway yard and is scheduled for trial runs within the next couple of days.
The Vande Bharat Express will depart from Gorakhpur at 6:30 AM and reach Patliputra Junction at 1:30 PM. The return journey will commence from Patliputra at 2:25 PM, arriving in Gorakhpur at 9:35 PM the same day. The total journey time will be approximately seven hours.
The train will halt at five key stations en route- Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, and Kaptanganj.
The train will consist of one Executive Class and seven Chair Car coaches, all equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. Passenger demand for a Vande Bharat service on this route had been growing for months, especially among business and professional travelers from Bihar.
