Amidst the ongoing investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's death case by Patna Police in Mumbai, a report reveals that Bollywood actor and close friend of Sushant Singh Rajput Mahesh Shetty will be the prime witness in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. It was Mahesh Shetty who called Sandip Ssingh and informed him about the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. 

The last call made by Sushant before dying was to none other than Mahesh Shetty. Shetty in his statement to Patna Police revealed that Rhea used to change Sushant's staff on a continuous basis. He also revealed that Rhea fired Sushant's loyal bodyguard on 22nd March just before the lockdown. Reportedly, the bodyguard was from Aligarh and Bihar Police is trying to find him.

Mahesh also revealed that after talking to family and friends, Sushant used to reset his phone as Rhea did not like it when the late actor talked to his family and friends. As per a report,  it was with Mahesh, Sushant was about to buy land in Coorg for organic farming.  After these statements by Mahesh, he has been made a prime witness by Patna Police. This has increased the trouble for Rhea Chakraborty and has increased the chances of her arrest.
