The fire of the Israel-Hamas war is spreading worldwide with Pro-Palestine supporters and Jewish people protesting against each other around the world. Amid the Israel-Hamas war, a rise in islamophobia and antisemitism has also been witnessed. Recently, a shocking incident came to the fore when a 69-year-old Jewish man died in California after getting involved in an altercation with Pro-Palestine protestors. The man was identified as Paul Kessler. Now, Paul Kessler's video is doing rounds on social media and netizens are slamming the Palestine supporters.
As per US media reports, Paul Kessler was an Israel supporter and he was involved in a scuffle with pro-Palestinian protesters around 3:20 p.m. when he suffered a head injury from falling to the ground. The incident took place on Sunday in Thousand Oaks and authorities are investigating his death as a possible hate crime.
As per the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Kessler was a counter-protester to a pro-Palestinian demonstration. As per the authorities, Paul Kessler's autopsy has been done and the case is being investigated as homicide. Paul Kessler's autopsy reportedly revealed the manner of death was a homicide, and the cause of death was blunt force head injury.
Currently, no arrests have been made so far and the investigation is ongoing suggests US media reports. The incident has not been ruled out as a hate crime, the sheriff’s office said.
