Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital on Saturday evening. On Twitter, the actor confirmed that he has tested COVID-19 positive.
"T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!" tweeted @SrBachchan.
Later he also updated his situation and thanked doctors for treating him well by uploading his video.

However, Bollywood actress and former Big Boss contestant Payal Rohatgi has slammed Amitabh Bachchan. Payal raised question that you can make a video while suffering from Coronavirus but you did not make any video not even a tweet to demand CBI Inquiry for Sushant Singh Rajput. She also outlined being an outsider Amitabh should have supported Sushant but he did not.
While Payal wished the speedy recovery for Amitabh and Abhishek, she called out the double standard of Bollywood big celebrities.
