The PCS Association along with IAS Association in Punjab will be meeting CM Bhagwant Mann at 1 pm on Monday. This meeting was scheduled after PCS Officers Association announced that officers all over Punjab will go on a mass casual leave for one week over the arrest of RTA Dhaliwal by the Vigilance Bureau. IAS association is also upset with Vigilance Bureau over FIR lodged against IAS Neelima without taking sanction under section 17 A.

The Vigilance Bureau on 5th January 2023 lodged an FIR against IAS Neelima and 10 other officers for transferring/bifurcation of an industrial plot to a realtor company and allowing it to establish township by cutting plots. While RTA Narinder Singh Dhaliwal was arrested on 6th January 2023 for allegedly collecting bribes from transporters.

The PCS Association submitted a memorandum to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann regarding their demands. A complaint against the illegality by Vigilance Bureau has also been submitted to the police complaint authority by association.

CM Mann will be hearing out both associations in the afternoon and will decide what steps will be taken further in this regard.
