The government of Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that, from Monday onwards consumer markets will be permitted to operate their activities in commercial hub ‘Indore’, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

They will be allowed to remain open till 10 p.m. as against the earlier cap of 8 p.m. owing to surge in Corona virus cases in the state.

Bhopal District Magistrate (DM) Avinash Lavania released a new order on Sunday evening, stating that all shops, offices, business organizations in the city would remain open upto till 10 p.m. whereas other all establishments will remain mandatorily closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

A comparable order was issued by the Indore DM Manish Singh who said, “shops, industrial institutions and restaurants under the supervision of Indore Municipal Corporation area and other social areas in the city would remain open till 10 p.m.

 Moreover, the order said in its earlier agreement that, shops, business institutions, restaurants, along with other activities were allowed to operate till 8 p.m. But now, these actions would be allowed to operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
