On the railway track of Phagwara, a person died on the spot when the side of the train hit him while he was crossing the train lines last night.
Giving information regarding this, ASI Narendra Kumar from GRP police station said that he had received information that a DMU was passing and the person was crossing the train lines from here, when the person was hit by the side of the train and died on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Nasir Hussain, a resident of Phagwara, and he worked as a tailor master, and among his family members there are five children and his wife Prachar. The body of the deceased has been sent to the Civil Hospital and police started investigating the matter.
