JP Nadda, BJP chief tests coronavirus positive

BJP president JP Nadda today announced that he has tested positive for the Covid-19 and is at present under home isolation. He 

Took to his Twitter handle and shared the news.

 

Mr Nadda, 60, said that after he experienced some initial mild symptoms, he got himself tested and informed that his health is in fine condition. 

 In his tweet, he urged everyone who has come in contact with him to get tested.

The political fraternity wished his speedy recovery on Twitter including Union Minister Smriti Irani.

Several politicians have contracted the virus that has affected close to a crore people in India. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ayush Minister Shirpad Naik, junior agriculture minister Kailash Choudhary, parliamentary affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal and petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan are among those ministers who have tested positive for the infection.
