In the midst of the coronavirus outbreak, authorities in Punjab have ordered a complete lockdown of several districts for the next few days, officials said on Sunday.
The districts are Jalandhar, Patiala, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Bathinda and Nawanshahr, which witnessed the maximum positive cases.
Recently, Jalandhar witnessed panic buying but before going into the panic mode you need to know that these place will remain open instead of lockdown:
1) Supply of groceries and milk/milk products
2) Supply of fresh fruits and vegetables
3) Supply of drinking water
4) Supply of fodder
5) All food processing units supplying processed food items, bakeries, eateries (Only Take Away No Sit In)
6) Dispensing of petrol, CNG, diesel at designated pumps
7) Supply of LPG (Domestic and Commercial)

8) Medicines and other pharmaceuticals stores
9) Bank and ATMs
10)Telecom operators and the agencies appointed by them to ensure communication services

13)All press establishments and employees working for press and accredited journalists, photo journalists and cameraman
