Prime Minister Narendra Modi recieved a warm welcome by Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel with presentation of bouquet at Swami Vivekanand Airport here on Tuesday.
Modi extended his greetings to CM Baghel on the formation of new government under his leadership in the state. Mr Baghel accorded warm welcome on behalf of the people of state to the Prime Minister on his visit to Chhattisgarh.
Mr Modi had reached Raipur Airport by a special flight on his way from New Delhi to Odisha.
After his brief stay, he left for Balangir district of Odisha by Air Force helicopter.
The Prime Minister will come back to Raipur by helicopter on Tuesday afternoon before leaving for Trivandrum (Kerala) by a special flight.
Former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, former Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar Kujur and Director General of Police DM Awasthi were present at Airport to welcome Modi.
