New Delhi, Jan 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Norwegian counterpart Erna Solberg held delegation level talks here on Tuesday.
"Exploring new avenues for deepening bilateral relationship. PM Narendra Modi and PM Norway Ms Erna Solberg held delegation level talks," MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
He further said both the leaders discussed bolstering relations in trade and investment, blue economy, oceans and marine resources, climate change and renewable energy.
In another missive, MEA spokesman wrote: "Adding strength and momentum to our relationship
PM Modi warmly welcomed his Norwegian counterpart Ms Solberg to India ahead of delegation-level talks".
The leaders last met at India-Nordic Summit in April 2018.
India and Norway share warm and friendly relationship.
The visiting Norwegian Prime Minister will also attend the three-day long Raisina Dialogue, which gets underway here on Tuesday.
