PM Narendra Modi to attend Lucknow University Centennial Foundation Day

Lucknow University was founded in 1920 and is celebrating its centennial - 100th year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grace the Centennial Foundation Day ceremony of the University of Lucknow on Wednesday via video conferencing and release a special commemorative postal stamp on the occasion. 

Lucknow University was founded in 1920 and is celebrating its centennial - 100th year.

As per the statement released from the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi will attend the function of Lucknow University Centennial Foundation Day on November 25, 2020, at 5:30 pm virtually. 

The university's centennial commemorative coin will be unveiled by Mr Narendera Modi on the event, along with a special commemorative postal stamp issued by India Post and its special cover during the ceremony, said the statement.

The other dignitaries who will be present at the occasion are Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
