On August 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab. He will inaugurate Tata Memorial Hospital in Mullapur, Mohali. This hospital has been made under the name of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Search Center, in which cancer patients will get affordable treatment. This visit of PM Modi will be important from the point of view of his security.

After the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government was formed in Punjab, he will make his first visit there. Earlier, there was a lapse in his security during the tenure of the Congress government and Charanjit Channi as CM. After which he had returned. He then traveled to Punjab to hold a rally in support of the electoral code of conduct.

Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital

According to the managers, this hospital will be completely ready in 6 months. All 300 of its beds will be functional. In this, OPDs of Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Preventive Oncology, and Anesthesia have been started. In addition to this, there are also modern facilities like MRI, CT, Mammography, and Digital Radiography here. The facility also provides day care for minor OTs and chemotherapy for biopsy and superficial surgery. With this, patients from Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan will also receive top-class cancer care.
